Ali Maegraith studied music at Sydney Conservatorium in the early 2000’s and in the following years continued to pursue songwriting. She released her debut solo album ‘Mistress of the Pig Market’ in 2011, with performances based in the inner west of Sydney. Moving to Berlin in 2015, Ali discovered the rich and eclectic world of jazz in Berlin, singing in various clubs around the city. Ali founded the alternative rock group ‘The Allen side’ in 2019. Ali also regularly writes original music for her Christian community ‘Kiez Church Wedding’. Ali’s love for the words of the Psalms and her love for Jazz comes together in the ‘Berlin Psalm Project’.
Davide Incorvaia studied classical piano for ten years at the Milan Conservatory and jazz piano for five years with the world famous Franco D'Andrea. Since 2008 he has played concerts with international jazz musicians such as George Gruntz, Franco Ambrosetti, Javier Girotto, Randy Brecker, Bob Mintzer and Dee Dee Bridgewater. He performed as a leader and as a sideman at various jazz festivals in Europe like Iseo Jazz, Umbria Jazz and Copenaghen Jazz Festival, since 2014 he lives in Berlin and plays regularly with many different bands in the most important jazz clubs in Germany and is an active part of the Berlin jazz scene.
Rich Maegraith, an Australian jazz musician from the Sydney Jazz Conservatorium, has lived and worked in Berlin for the last 9 years. His main instrument is tenor saxophone, although he has appeared on over 35 released albums with various instruments, including flutes, clarinets, bass and drums. Other than in jazz, he works in many different settings from television to theatre His credits include working with The Jazzgroove Mothership, Sydney All Star Jazz Orchestra, Chris Potter, Alex Sipiagin, MAria Schneider, Judy Bailey, James Morrison, James Muller, and the list goes on. He currently works as a Pastor with Kiez Church Wedding.
Multiple award-winner Marcel Krömker studied bass at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and at the Jazz Institut Berlin. He has taken courses with Avishai Cohen, Bobby McFerrin, John Ruocco, Joey Baron, Kenny Werner and John Scofield, among others . He was a member of the Pär Lammers and Chris Gall Trios (Climbing Up ), Sebastian Schunke Quintet (Life and Death ) and Ed Kröger's Interplay (album, 2011). He also worked with Lizzy Scharnofske ( No. 3 ) and Diego Piñera in the Spiral Vortex Trio. Other credits include Nils Landgren, Tony Lakatos, Nils Wogram, Tino Derado, Changuito, Michael Moore, Jasper Blom, Leni Stern and Peter Ehwald.
Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, Will Pethick, started playing jazz at the age of ten. After completing his bachelor's degree at the James Morrison Academy of Music and the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2021, he performed with jazz luminaries like Wycliff Gordon and Joey DeFrancesco. Moving to Germany in 2023, he became a fixture in Berlin and Hamburg's music scenes. In 2024, he launched his electric jazz group, 'Intelligent Design.' Currently pursuing a Master of Music at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, Will continues to leave his mark on the international jazz scene.
